Boat People SOS, Inc. (BPSOS) is a national Vietnamese American non-profit with 43 years’ experience in providing social and health services for disenfranchised, underserved, and hard-to-reach Vietnamese populations in the United States. Our mission is “to assist Vietnamese refugees and immigrants in their search for a life in liberty and dignity by empowering, equipping and organizing Vietnamese American individuals and communities in their progress towards self-sufficiency.” Originally founded to assist displaced Indochinese refugees fleeing from the Vietnam war, our organization has since evolved into a community-based service organization to assist and support the most economically vulnerable within our community, particularly those who are low income or uninsured. We are actively seeking some motivated and passionate members to join our team as below:


Domestic Violence (DV) Program Manager

Domestic Violence (DV) Program Manager is responsible for the operations and growth of the Community Against Domestic Violence) CADV Program. This position provides supervision, support, and consultation for the DV Program staff to increase community awareness about DV and to ensure seamless services to survivors. The DV Manager works

with the DV program staff and Executive Director to develop and implement effective strategies to serve survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault who are primarily Asian American and other survivors of color. Health Assistant Director

Boat People SOS, Inc. (BPSOS), a national Vietnamese-American community-based organization, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual with creative and innovative program planning and coordinating to lead and assist the Health Awareness and Promotion Program (HAPP) national team. Communities Against Domestic Violence (CADV) Program Director

The Program Director will be supported with legal expertise from the Staff Attorney, program staff, and administrative support from the COO at BPSOS. This person will also be responsible for the management and development of domestic violence advocates/case managers who are on the ground working at each of the local sites.
